Bio: Miss Abigail Foaty. Miss Abigail Foaty is a Communications and Events Manager at British High Commission in Accra. Abigail’s curiosity and fascination with communication has shaped her determination to build a high performing Communication Team at the British High Commission. She drives the organization’s media presence and is known for her tenacity and passion for building the GREAT brand in Ghana. She has extensive experience in communication, brand advisory, public relations, social media strategy and event management. She has also gain unparrelled experience as the former Regional Learning and Development Coordination for West Africa as British High Commission while establishing herself as respectable communication consultant. By day, you will find her curating content, analyzing performance of targeted marketing campaigns and doodling over innovative storytelling in the context of public diplomacy and media engagement. Influenced by her education in Economic Policy from the London School of Economic and Political Science, international communication skills training from chartered institute of public relations and chartered institute of marketing under the UK Government’s Communication service. She developed a well-rounded skillset and unique perspective when it comes to communication in diplomatic sector and empowerment. A former Alumnus of AIESEC, a member of Ghana-UK based Achievement Awards-GUBA and TEDx Spintex Women, she has a seasoned perspective and interest in girl child education and advocate for ending violence against women. She is specifically attuned to the challenges of women and more importantly, their potential to impact societies and organizations when their authentic, empathetic and intuitive skills are overloaded.
