Nominee's Bio: Mr. Alexander Kojo Tetteh has distinguished himself as a Disability Right in Ghana. He is always fighting for PWDs in Ghana to ensure that provisions are made for their participation in all spheres of life. He is involved in Sports for the Disabled, a Reality show for PWDs in the Arts industry, advocate for political participation of PWDs. Facilitates paid employment and Entrepreneurship for PWDs. Facilitates the donation of wheelchairs and other assistive devices for PWDs across the country. Mr. Tetteh has founded three organizations for persons with Disabilities, The Centre for Employment of persons with Disabilities CEPD, Ghana Chamber for Entrepreneurs with Disabilities GCED and the Ghana Disability Forum, all to support PWDs to overcome the challenges that they are confronted with. Mr.Tetteh has participated in conferences, seminars and workshops across Africa, USA, Europe and the Asia, all to advocate for a better life for PWDs. Mr. Tetteh is currently part of a coalition seeking a legislation that will establish a quota system of employment for PWDs in Ghana.
